Danielle is a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and a certified Khalsa Way© Prenatal Yoga and Meditation Instructor. Last summer she attended an Anusara Pregnancy Teacher Training at City Yoga. Danielle is passionate about prenatal and postnatal yoga instruction.
Prenatal yoga adapts to the woman’s changing body to assist with common discomforts such as swelling of the extremities, nausea, back pain, sciatica, heartburn, hormonal imbalances and general tiredness. The physical practice of yoga will tone the body, increasing flexibility and endurance to aid in labor and recovery, while meditation and relaxation will prepare you for the stages of labor, and the journey of motherhood. Prenatal yoga offers a way to celebrate this sacred cycle of creation and flux.
Postnatal yoga is a gentle style of yoga that gradually eases the body back into full swing. We usually begin with typical prenatal yoga poses and gently add postures that strengthen the abdominal muscles. Once your newborn is a month old, you may wish to practice with your little one, in a unique method of bonding.
Yoga for the Childbearing Year
Women who are pregnant, postpartum or wishing to conceive are welcome to join. Beginning September 2009

Private Sessions
Private sessions are a great alternative for those who have busy schedules or prefer to practice in the comfort of their own home. Each session offers a class tailored to the individuals changing needs. You may choose to practice privately, with your partner or a group. Danielle teaches all levels and all abilities. Please note there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Contact Danielle about current rates and special packages.
